"Penang state assembly: Fourth walkout in four months"
Fuhhh..this is the best part of politic! One day you are at the top and another you are at the bottom. Before this, the DAP and its alliances are in the opposition side. At that time they never give a peace of mind to BN so now I am laughing all the way hahahaha...they are facing the game that they used to play...Congrats to the BNs in Penang!!!!

Having a negative aura?
This what I always do, just lock myself alone in my house. Be alone when I feel that my mind and actions are not that positive. I just don't want this negative aura effect the everybody around me.

Speak Malay well...can convert to Islam?...
This morning I watched a morning program on TV3 and I couldn't help but felt so angry with one of the caller. The tv presenter interviewed a chinese lady and that chinese lady spoke fluent Malay. She is such a sweet lady.
After that, the tv presenter answered a phone call and the man praised the lady for her fluency in Malay. So the caller 'invited' the chinese lady to convert to Islam because she can speak Malay fluently. Luckily the tv presenter said something towards the remark.
I am not a muslim and when I heard that just because we can speak Malay fluently so me must embrace Islam is it? Do not get me wrong, I am a person that always respect other religion, belief etc. But the caller is so stupid by saying that because the chinese lady speaks good Malays might as well she converts to Islam....
Bahasa Malaysia is our national language. We should be proud that we can master the language be it in speaking, writing etc. We learn Malay because it is our pride, dignity etc...not to embrace other religion that majority using Malay!

Pubilc exam - UPSR
In a few more days the primary school pupils will be sitting for their UPSR examination. For some of them this exam is very important and as usual there are a minority just take it for granted.
The teachers are also very busy for the 'emergency time'. There are so much efforts that have been put in and up to the pupils to do their best.
Everybody wants a good result from the candidates. The management keep on putting pressure to the teachers to make sure that the school can get 100% result passing result.
Slowly the year six teachers burning out....
But just hope for the best...Good Luck to the year 6 pupils!

Merdeka!
The people in Sarawak, particularly the youngsters in Sibu (because I am in Sibu now) are all gearing up to celebrate the Merdeka night. They are seen riding their motorbikes (with the loud sound n the flags) all around the town. I am not sure whether this is the right way to celebrate but who am I to judge. Maybe they are a bot too much (with the noise pollution) but hey,...they are still young. I just one to see it from the positive side of it...at least they still remember that tonite is the eve of Merdeka!...as long they are not involve with any accident.
The government keep on drumming the 1Malaysia concept. Well nothing wrong with it. At least we can start somewhere. But the reality now is not really moving towards it.
The three major races in Malaysia still distancing themeleves...try to be more UMNO, MIC or MCA!
Hey I still believe that we need to identify ourself with our race (when we fill up forms for formal use and so on). I am proud for others to know my race when I apply for job etc. My race is one of my identities! But please do not put the barrier based on the race issue.
People of Sarawak has been experiencing the harmonious way of living together. Yes we are belong to many races..Bidayuh,Malay, Iban, Penan etc but we are happy with each other. My Malay friends can sit together at the Chinese shop without saying that it is haram...well they are not eating the pork...there are ample of cans drink that they can order and still can chatting happily with their friends.
One of my friends went to a Pasar Ramadhan (now is the fasting month for the Muslims) and saw a Chinese lady tasting the food at the pasar Ramadhan. Did the Malays people rioting because of that? No, there was nothing violence happen. If it was not Sarawak, for sure they already blaming the Chinese lady as not respecting their belief! Oh please...we in Sarawak complementing each other! The Chinese lady is not a Muslim so she maybe does not really understand the Muslims belief, so I am sure the Sarawak Malays (Muslims)forgive her for being ignorance...just think that it is as 'dugaan' in the fasting month.
Happy Merdeka and happy 1Sarawak to all my Sarawakian friends!

Teaching Science and Mathematics in BM again?!!!
Ohhh..I am so dissapointed when I heard that the government reverted the teaching of Science and mathematics to BM again.
As Sarawakian..I always feel that English is very much a language that we Sarawakian really appreciate it.
We can't even really accept BM as Bahasa Malaysia and now we say that we are "1Malaysia"...

I pity the patient that is need to be tranfer from Kapit Hospital to Sibu Hospital!
I took the last express boat from Kapit to Sibu at 3.15pm. As usual the boat was full. This kind of scenario is very normal for Kapit-Sibu passengers. What to do...there is still no road linking Kapit to Sibu!
Ok, I come back to my story...as we were about to move from the wharf, there was a group of doctors and nurses came with a patient. They carried the patient using a stretcher. Obviously the patient was in a tremendous pain.
I just pity the patient and all the patients that live in Kapit. If the government can build the road to Kapit, I am sure that this patient can easily be transported by the ambulance. They do not have to endure the pain in the process to transfer them to Sibu Hospital.
The patient is already sick and he/she has to suffer again, emotionally because he or she needs to let themselves to be seen/ watch by the public etc. There is no privacy anymore....you are becoming the talk of the town...becoming public property...

MAS and AIRASIA assure their aircraft are safe!
I am so glad that the MAS and Airasia give an assurance that their aircraft are safe. The recent tragedy with Air France really makes us scared.

The spirit of 'Dayakism'.
Sometimes, I feel that it is funny if I think about some of our Dayak leaders. Recently, they (some not all) try to delete the word DAYAK, well now the issue is getting down slowly but the dissatisfaction is still there.
What is so wrong with the word Dayak?
I personally really proud to be call Dayak. Not even once I feel ashame when people address me as a Dayak.
There are so many points and facts that tell us the word Dayak is not a shame. I don't have to elaborate it more here.
Be true to ourself and be proud of what you are.
The downfall of the community is not because of the name but because of the people itself.
If you think the word Dayak shows certain weaknesses, so what are you waiting for, work hard to prove that we are not weak!

DAP??
Politic is very interesting. People will do whatever they think that fit them the best.
Recently, the true colours of my DAP's friends have shown.
There are actually fighting for their own race... not for all races!
Everyday, they just keep on championing the welfare of the Chinese community and there are one or two efforts to tackle the Bumiputras problems but overall, they are just more concern to their own race.
Demand for a 'perfect' Chinese medium schools etc.
Hello...there are so many government schools in a very bad situation and they are always waiting patiently... because the government is doing their very best! ....and I can tell you that...sooner or later, the Government will provide whatever they can.
Now, the chinese community is so vocal in demanding an equal right to everthing... yes I can understand their feeling but hey...the Sarawakians and Sabahans natives also have more rights to demand... equality etc but there are channels available...talking about channels, I sometimes blame the people behind these channels not the existing government. See, I am being practical here, I don't really support opposition or the government but I am for sure, will support a good and stable government....in the end we need to live peacefully and with a 'full' stomach.

Kuching is in a very good weather.
Right now I am enjoying my lunch at one of the coffee shop in 3rd Mile. Since Gawai, the weather in Kuching is very good!
I am using the free wi-fi service from one of the company here...luckily they didn't put any password for their wi-fi.

Happy Gawai@Slamat Gawea 2009!
The Dayaks in Malaysia will celebrate the Gawai Dayak or The Harvest Festival soon. For those who are going to do some last minute shopping will find it terrible, just like me just now...
The parking spaces were all pack!
I love to shop at Boulevard Kuching but today or almost every festivals, it was very difficult to get a parking space at the parking basements. After I did the shopping, it took such a longer time to exit!
What ever it is, I feel that once in awhile it will be not a problem to Kuchingites.
1Malaysia? Yes I really can experience it in Sarawak...hehehehe well maybe because of the sales, doesn't matter you are Dayaks, Malays, Chinese etc. all are doing their shopping peacefully and patiently.....well done Sarawakiana!
Happy Gawai...

When it seems that all the 'PEMUDA' or the young voters more to PKR, DAP etc...but I still believe in BN!
I just hope that people will see the goodness of BN....hehehe
But again it is very hard to tell the opposition that when I am saying that I still put my hope on BN, I am still not belong to any political party. I can imagine that they will start putting the 'dacing' logo on my forehead!
I am not a BN member but I know that BN can deliver!
Yes there are BN leaders will 'eat' a bit of your money etc but there are also thousand more BN leaders who are 'clean'.

Batang Ai By-election: Cash Rebate to outboard engines owners.
The by-election is getting nearer. All political parties are very busy doing their campaigns. What is being the talk of the town now is that the giving of cash rebate to outboard engines owners in Batang Ai. I just feel that it is rather funny for the BN to give out this kind of rebate at this moment.Makes everybody wonder...
Why they only give it to the Batang Ai people? For the majority of the rakyat, this kind of action is not that different as buying the voters' vote @ money politics.
Yes I know that the rebate is not something new but when all of the division in Sarawak have not get it, out of the blue the Batang Ai people got it first?!
If they BN really want to fish for the voters, why can't they do it wisely?
Why not give out the cash rebate to some other area that are not having any connection with the by-election first! Then, if they want to give it to the Batang Ai people, the opposition parties cannot manipulate the issue because BN is not only helping the place that facing the by-election!
How I hope the BN leaders can plan and launch solid and superb strategies after this! Where are the BN think-tank??? Wake up man....this very simple strategy also you people cannot do...
Think before do something! All parties need to fish for the vote either BN or opposition.
I just hope that the BN will win with a big majority!!!

Batang Ai by-election 2009
How should I start? Ermmm.... well ok..
The by-election will be held on April 7. I googles the internet for blogs and found out that there are so many bloggers more incline towards Pakatan Rakyat!
One that I still remember is "Dayak Baru"!
Who are these people? Well, I myself do not know them but once I read their blogs, I just feel like vomiting!
Hey! Listen! I am not that stupid ok.. I consider myself "Dayak Baru" also but I still feel that the BN government is not that bad as what they (the bloggers) portray...
Yes there are some issues but I just do not believe the Pakatan Rakyat anymore...they think that they can do it (governing..nadai jako nya wai!) but what I can see they can only do the talking and barking but no result!
At least in BN we have Dato Seri Tiong (Bintulu)..sorry for the title, I don't really remember all the titles given to the leaders, so daring to talk about gangterism etc in Sarawak, ..just to name a few.
As for the by-election in Batang Ai, I just hope that the people still have confidence in BN... So far I see that only BN can help us! Maybe next time if we have another good Pakatan..no more Pakatan Rakyat - PKR, I can consider but for now BN is still the best! Eventhough I have a few disappointments but i know the BN reps will listen and do something about it... not PR, they listen and just hoping they can do it..
Again..this is my personal opinon..you just don't take everything I write as a valid document.
PKR strategy - takes pictures and publish them..oh gosh...what a shame...why only take pictures of poverty etc during election? Do something about it! Collect donations and build all the houses for the poor etc...don't just waiting and hoping the BN do it and after that PKR will have the credits.... Proof that you can do it with your own money then the people will believe that even without being the government you still can help people! Because I am sure if the PKR would be able to win the by-election, the whole state and federal still belong to BN! So still not much of money for Batang Ai from PKR!
I love to see the final result of the election wakaka....!!!

BN in power again in Perak!!!
This is my personal opinion. I am so happy to see that BN is able to form a government again in Perak. It is a good lesson to Anwar that do not be so arrogant in telling the whole world that he can easily buys the BN reps!
Now you see what happen now? They themselves are losing their own people and he still have the face to form his government in Sarawak??? make me wonder...
Yes, before this I thought that they can be a really good government but by looking at how they govern the few states, I can see that they are always giving comments, critics and empty talking....where are the developments? Some of the PR governments keep on critics and blaming the previous government, don't they realize that they are the government now!.... Just start doing the works and show the people@rakyat what have they themselves have done!
I watched the 8pm news just now, my God!...are we in Pakistan, Palestine, Afghanistan etc? They chanted their religious chants etc. I just hope that the Sultan will do something about this in the near future.

'Herald' gets new permit with strings attached
***As I read this news, I am so thankful to GOD! As a Christian, I love peace just like the other Christians. That is why when we are in troubles and difficulties, we seldom go for riots and so on, but we pray..yes we pray hard! When Herald suddenly having trouble, we pray together as a community. We pray for the well being of the ministers and never for the 'bad' things for them. We pray so that The Home Ministry and the other ministries will have love and peace in their heart. Praise The Lord.
PUTRAJAYA: After months of waiting for word if they could continue publishing, the publisher of the Herald, a Catholic weekly, can now heave a sigh of relief.
The Home Ministry decided on Tuesday to approve the publication's annual printing permit.
However, it was not without conditions.
The ministry's Publications and Quranic Text Control unit deputy secretary Abdul Razak Abdul Latif said the approval letter sent to the publisher outlined three rules that they must abide. They are:
- to cease the publication of Herald in Bahasa Malaysia until the court decides on its move to seek a declaratory relief that it is entitled to use the word "Allah";
- that the publication can only be sold in churches; and
- that it prints clearly on the cover that the paper is only meant for Christians.
The publication, through the Archbishop of Kuala Lumpur Tan Sri Murphy Pakiam, is seeking a declaration that the home minister's directive to cease the use of the word "Allah" is illegal and null and void.
Razak said the unit would be monitoring Herald closely to ensure that these conditions were followed.
"The minute they break any of these conditions, we will lodge a report with the enforcement unit which will then take action against the weekly's publisher," he told the New Straits Times yesterday.
He said it was unfair to claim that the ministry was deliberately giving the Herald a hard time, including waiting till the last minute to approve its printing permit.
The publication had been given a string of warning letters for dabbling in issues other than religion.
He said the warning letters were issued as the publication's previous permit had stated that the contents of the weekly should solely be on religious matters.
Under the latest permit, he said there should be no problems for the 32-page weekly, currently published in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese and Tamil, to touch on issues beyond religion, as the ministry had approved its application for covering "religion", "current affairs" and "international affairs" topics.
"We have nothing personal against the publication. It was all a big misunderstanding.
"The unit also monitors the contents of the publication to ensure that what is printed does not erode the akidah (faith) of Muslims," he said, adding that the permit approval letter was signed by Home Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar.
