In a few more days the primary school pupils will be sitting for their UPSR examination. For some of them this exam is very important and as usual there are a minority just take it for granted.
The teachers are also very busy for the 'emergency time'. There are so much efforts that have been put in and up to the pupils to do their best.
Everybody wants a good result from the candidates. The management keep on putting pressure to the teachers to make sure that the school can get 100% result passing result.
Slowly the year six teachers burning out....
But just hope for the best...Good Luck to the year 6 pupils!

Merdeka!
The people in Sarawak, particularly the youngsters in Sibu (because I am in Sibu now) are all gearing up to celebrate the Merdeka night. They are seen riding their motorbikes (with the loud sound n the flags) all around the town. I am not sure whether this is the right way to celebrate but who am I to judge. Maybe they are a bot too much (with the noise pollution) but hey,...they are still young. I just one to see it from the positive side of it...at least they still remember that tonite is the eve of Merdeka!...as long they are not involve with any accident.
The government keep on drumming the 1Malaysia concept. Well nothing wrong with it. At least we can start somewhere. But the reality now is not really moving towards it.
The three major races in Malaysia still distancing themeleves...try to be more UMNO, MIC or MCA!
Hey I still believe that we need to identify ourself with our race (when we fill up forms for formal use and so on). I am proud for others to know my race when I apply for job etc. My race is one of my identities! But please do not put the barrier based on the race issue.
People of Sarawak has been experiencing the harmonious way of living together. Yes we are belong to many races..Bidayuh,Malay, Iban, Penan etc but we are happy with each other. My Malay friends can sit together at the Chinese shop without saying that it is haram...well they are not eating the pork...there are ample of cans drink that they can order and still can chatting happily with their friends.
One of my friends went to a Pasar Ramadhan (now is the fasting month for the Muslims) and saw a Chinese lady tasting the food at the pasar Ramadhan. Did the Malays people rioting because of that? No, there was nothing violence happen. If it was not Sarawak, for sure they already blaming the Chinese lady as not respecting their belief! Oh please...we in Sarawak complementing each other! The Chinese lady is not a Muslim so she maybe does not really understand the Muslims belief, so I am sure the Sarawak Malays (Muslims)forgive her for being ignorance...just think that it is as 'dugaan' in the fasting month.
Happy Merdeka and happy 1Sarawak to all my Sarawakian friends!
