I took the last express boat from Kapit to Sibu at 3.15pm. As usual the boat was full. This kind of scenario is very normal for Kapit-Sibu passengers. What to do...there is still no road linking Kapit to Sibu!
Ok, I come back to my story...as we were about to move from the wharf, there was a group of doctors and nurses came with a patient. They carried the patient using a stretcher. Obviously the patient was in a tremendous pain.
I just pity the patient and all the patients that live in Kapit. If the government can build the road to Kapit, I am sure that this patient can easily be transported by the ambulance. They do not have to endure the pain in the process to transfer them to Sibu Hospital.
The patient is already sick and he/she has to suffer again, emotionally because he or she needs to let themselves to be seen/ watch by the public etc. There is no privacy anymore....you are becoming the talk of the town...becoming public property...

MAS and AIRASIA assure their aircraft are safe!
I am so glad that the MAS and Airasia give an assurance that their aircraft are safe. The recent tragedy with Air France really makes us scared.

The spirit of 'Dayakism'.
Sometimes, I feel that it is funny if I think about some of our Dayak leaders. Recently, they (some not all) try to delete the word DAYAK, well now the issue is getting down slowly but the dissatisfaction is still there.
What is so wrong with the word Dayak?
I personally really proud to be call Dayak. Not even once I feel ashame when people address me as a Dayak.
There are so many points and facts that tell us the word Dayak is not a shame. I don't have to elaborate it more here.
Be true to ourself and be proud of what you are.
The downfall of the community is not because of the name but because of the people itself.
If you think the word Dayak shows certain weaknesses, so what are you waiting for, work hard to prove that we are not weak!

DAP??
Politic is very interesting. People will do whatever they think that fit them the best.
Recently, the true colours of my DAP's friends have shown.
There are actually fighting for their own race... not for all races!
Everyday, they just keep on championing the welfare of the Chinese community and there are one or two efforts to tackle the Bumiputras problems but overall, they are just more concern to their own race.
Demand for a 'perfect' Chinese medium schools etc.
Hello...there are so many government schools in a very bad situation and they are always waiting patiently... because the government is doing their very best! ....and I can tell you that...sooner or later, the Government will provide whatever they can.
Now, the chinese community is so vocal in demanding an equal right to everthing... yes I can understand their feeling but hey...the Sarawakians and Sabahans natives also have more rights to demand... equality etc but there are channels available...talking about channels, I sometimes blame the people behind these channels not the existing government. See, I am being practical here, I don't really support opposition or the government but I am for sure, will support a good and stable government....in the end we need to live peacefully and with a 'full' stomach.

Kuching is in a very good weather.
Right now I am enjoying my lunch at one of the coffee shop in 3rd Mile. Since Gawai, the weather in Kuching is very good!
I am using the free wi-fi service from one of the company here...luckily they didn't put any password for their wi-fi.
